[OpenSPIM] weird images - endian problem?

Dear All,

my images/stacks acquired with the OpenSPIM plugin have suddenly started
looking weird. I attached an example image (spim_TL00_Angle0.ome.tiff).
If I do not define an output directory and save the image manually after
acquisition, it looks normal (see attached SimpleOutput.tif).

I have been told it could be a big-endian/little-endian problem
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endianness).

I haven’t found anything to adjust that turns them back to normal (not
contrast/brightness, inversion,…).

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Thank you very much,

Stephanie
