The price is actually that you should work with the maintainer to make
sure that your workflow is supported even if we switch to a modern
architecture and try to adapt the old architecture so that formerly
working scripts still work.

I understand that you do not want to update because you have been burnt,
but on the other hand I do not recall any bug report via Help>Report a
Bug, either.

In truth, we are working very hard here, but we do not try to guess about
bugs. We rely on proper bug reports and responsive bug reporters. A little
bit of the burden really lies also with the users.
