Dear Rudiger

> Dear OPEN-SPIM team,

> your website is terrific!

Thanks!

> Since a while we are now getting more and more interested in setting up our own SPIM for a multitude of potential applications.
> My impression is, that for many purposes a dual color-X-SPIM would be needed.
> You show nice pictures on your page of such a system (X-SPIM), but in the parts list the corresponding chamber is not listed.

The picture of X-OpenSPIM is a model, it does not exist (at least not to my knowledge). One can in principle build such a microscope, but it will necessarily involve some technology development.

> Do you, in general, sell the parts listed under „OPEN SPIM“ at the prices indicated on your page and do you also distribute the chambers for X-SPIM?

We don't sell anything. The parts are obtainable from standard manufacturers as indicated. Custom parts need to be done either by your workshop according to the provided plans or you can click on the email icon next to the parts list and get them from Pieter Fourie in South Africa.

All the best

PAvel
