Hello Jamie,
I would personally revert back to 7, due to the fact that it is more thoroughly tested... tried and true.
Regards,
Pete

Subject: [OpenSPIM] Compatibility with Windows 8
Hi everyone,
We’ve started to build a dual illumination OpenSPIM scope in Newcastle, Australia and our parts are mostly here. Our workstation has just arrived and it’s come preinstalled with Windows 8. Before I start putting the software and drivers on, has anyone had any compatibility issues with the OpenSPIM software and this operating system? Would it be wise to step back to Windows 7?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
All the best
