[OpenSPIM] Picard Z stage problem

Hi Johannes,
As Mark pointed out back in June, the problem with the z motor can be
reproduced without any Picard hardware connected to the computer, so it
seems unlikely that it is a serial number problem. However, if it is a
serial number problem, I cannot figure out how to change the range of
serial numbers used by the device adapter by editing the properties? Where
can I find these properties?
