You can quickly exchange medium (as you mentioned) but also use it just for heating.</div><div><br></div><div>Regarding the Aluminum, it's the same reason why people avoid putting Aluminum wheels on their cars during winter time, when salt is used to melt down the ice. The salt in combination with water will form a nasty layer of something on the Aluminum, don't ask me for the details.
